Dr. Drevets possesses a personal and professional commitment to past, present and future clients encompassing over twenty years of contribution to the mental health field. During her thirty-three years of teaching in the public school system, she was encouraged by students and faculty to pursue her obvious innate gifts as a therapist. A dedicated individual exhibiting extensive training, education, knowledge and life experience in the mental health field specializing in adolescent, child, adults, group, marriage and family mental health issues, with emphasis in prevention of domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse. She received her Master’s degree in Communication Arts from Kansas University, Master of Science degree in Counseling from Kansas State University, and her Doctorate in Counseling from Kansas State University. She enjoys one-to-one therapy of all ages, is adept in group therapy, is excited to share ideas with others, and frequently lectures to groups and classes on subjects related to communication, education, and relationship problems. Dr. Drevets continues to write in behalf of education and the mental health field.
